The purpose of this update is to inform the community of the actions that were taken by the Board at the June 4, 2020 Special School Board meeting.

Budget Solutions - The Board took action on the following items:
The Board provided lists of ideas and considerations for Administration to look more specifically into Topic 1 “Stuff”, Topic 2 Classified Staff and Topic 3 Certificated Staff.
Board had consensus on the following items:
● Move forward with hiring four assistant principals: to fill two vacancies at elementary schools and add two at two high need elementary schools
● Move forward with filling the open counseling position
● Move forward with filling open teaching positions that have already been budgeted and accounted for in school site staffing allocations
● Cancelled the June 8, 2020 Special Board meeting and set a Tentative date for June 11, 2020 Special Board meeting.
