WHAT IS WAVE PACT?
Vista Unified School District is committed to preparing all students to be college and career ready when they graduate. From Kindergarten to Senior year, we work collaboratively to promote a college prepared mindset in the district. Regardless of the path our students choose: 2-year college, 4-year college, trade school or the work place, they will be able to obtain their goal because they have prepared themselves for the future.
WAVEpact incorporates this college mindset, along with the guaranteed admission agreement with California State University San Marcos, to open doors for ALL students in the district.
The question is not "if I go to college?"...
It is "where will I go now that I am prepared for college and career?"

WAVE PACT - GUARANTEED ADMISSION TO CSU SAN MARCOS

PALOMAR PROMISE
VUSD has partnered with Palomar College to provide a comprehensive program to support high school students to increase college-going rates, transfer to a 4-year school or go into the workforce.
MIRA COSTA PROMISE GRANT
Offers funding for all first-time/ full time college students
Mandatory fees waived (enrollment, health fee, student center fee)
Two years free (2nd year pending state budget approval)
